Energy Harvesting Product Design Tools: Engineering Validation Kit

Ambient’s engineering validation kit (EVK) is a tool that allows other engineers to validate the performance of not just Ambient’s PV cells, but the whole stack of energy harvesting and storage or load.

The EVK featured in this video includes two different energy harvesting solutions for side by side evaluation, and a storage element and load. This large form factor EVK is meant for an application with a high power consumption profile.

EVKs can be made in a variety of sizes to suit your application.

Our EVKs rely on the engineer to measure illumination, power delivered by our PV cell, and power delivered by the energy harvesting solution into a load or storage element.

This is a highly flexible tool that can be customized for your application so that you can start validating our performance in the field quickly.
